Design for corporate identity, marketing materials, and special event pieces, as well as web design and development. Work closely with content providers, marketing teams, and clients to identify problems and how to solve them in a way that resonates with the audience. I form a comfortable working relationship with clients and regularly work with them long term.

Clients include non-profits, job insurance provider, B-to-B SaaS companies, and children’s programs of a major symphony orchestra.

Member of a team of designers for in-house university studio. Worked closely with the marketing director, art director, team members, and internal clients designing print materials including invitations, folders, special event pieces, and more. Coordinated with printers, mail providers, and other vendors. Projects were geared toward multiple audiences—students, parents, donors, alumni, or partners.

Baker College of Auburn Hills

Instructor of corporate identity and publication design classes. Taught students how to work with clients to develop a logo, how to generate and present ideas, and how to design documents. Supported their learning of InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Using system-wide guidelines for course goals, I set up class projects, schedules, samples, and rubrics. Guided students through a real-life group project for a local theater group.

As the sole designer for this SaaS company I was responsible for designing, researching, production, and writing of marketing and sales materials. Also designed trade show booths, special event materials, packaging, and signs. Worked closely with marketing and sales team members, printers, and other vendors.
